Ditch the Chemical Cleaning Products for Something Cheaper & Eco-Friendly

I'm participating in Dry July at the moment and I have to say I can't remember feeling so good and it's only been a week. Despite that I try and eat healthy food, I do love my wine! With my lifestyle as a blogger I'm out at a lot of events and guess what? Yes, they serve champagne and wine and it's easy to lose track of the amount you are putting in your body when you are busy networking.

Dry July got me thinking that if I'm detoxing my body of alcohol I should probably detox my house of chemicals too. Let's face it the Big Brand marketing machines will have you believe that the only way to a clean house is using toxic substances, but I'm here to tell you that's not true.

There are a couple of magic ingredients that can get your house sparking clean; vinegar, baking soda and toothpaste!

Rather than re-write the post I wrote yesterday, you can read the original article on my Sydney Lifestyle Blog. These little tricks are really useful for those wishing to have a chemical free home and or want to save some money.

Below is an example of my tarnished silver jewellery and what it looked like after I cleaned it with toothpaste.
